PDF Fix is built around a simple idea: your files never leave your device. The tools run entirely in your browser, so there is no server that receives, processes, or stores your PDFs.
Your files
Every operation, merging, splitting, editing and the rest, happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server, never stored by us, and never seen by anyone but you. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools keep working.
What we collect
Nothing about you or your documents. There are no accounts, we never ask for your email, and we do not build any profile of you.
What is stored in your browser
We save two small preferences on your own device so the site remembers your choices: your language and your light or dark theme. These stay in your browser and are not personal information.
Analytics and tracking
We currently use no analytics and no tracking cookies. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this page first.
Advertising
There are currently no ads on the site. If advertising is added in the future, this page will be updated to explain exactly what that involves.
Hosting and third parties
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider. Because your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded, no file data is ever shared with any third party.
